The award was given in the design category, and honors the innovative and outstanding design of the hidden linear ventilation diffuser LINEO PRO PUZZLE. Frameless ventilation diffuser ‘ERGOVENT Rondo’ has been awarded the prestigious Red Dot award

The Lithuanian company ERGOVENT achieved recognition at the prestigious Red Dot Awards, often referred to as the International Oscars of product design. The event took place in Germany on June 19th, where ERGOVENT Rondo emerged as the winner in the HVAC product design category. The “Rondo” ventilation diffuser, an innovative solution for stylish interiors, outshined over 20,000 competing products from around the globe.

The new trend in interior design

With the rise of higher energy class buildings and the demand for mechanical ventilation systems in residential buildings, ventilation diffusers have become increasingly common. However, conventional ceiling diffusers, while functional, have failed to meet the expectations of both consumers and interior designers due to their stagnant design that remained unchanged for many years.

The prevailing trend of modern minimalism has had a significant impact on various aspects of the market, including lighting, home appliances, and most recently, ventilation components. This design trend emphasizes the concealment of unnecessary details and aims to harmonise these elements with the surrounding surfaces, reducing the visual burden of technical components within the interior. As a result, ventilation components had to undergo a transformation as well in order to align with this trend.
