Mareterra – Monaco’s visionary eco-district
Mareterra is a groundbreaking development, redefining sustainability and luxury in the heart of Monaco. This ambitious land extension into the Mediterranean Sea blends upscale living with public amenities, offering 110 luxury apartments, 10 villas, 4 townhouses, a vibrant marina, 1-hectare park, a scenic 500m coastal promenade, high-end retail, fine dining, and lush green spaces.
Balancing aesthetics with functionality
With a project of this scale and exclusivity, every detail had to align with the architectural vision. The challenge was clear: integrate HVAC solutions seamlessly while maintaining the high aesthetic standards set by the architects. Our team worked closely with project designers to ensure that technical elements blended effortlessly into the space without compromising efficiency or performance.
Choosing Ergovent diffusers: a game-changer
We were introduced to Ergovent diffusers through other collaborators on the project. While initially unfamiliar with these products, we quickly recognized their potential to align with the project’s strict aesthetic demands. Implementation was smooth, with no major challenges encountered, allowing for a seamless integration into the space.
Innovative and custom concealment: the mosaic solution
One of the key hurdles was the architects’ firm requirement to keep technical elements invisible on ceilings and walls. Our solution? Concealing air extraction points behind elegant mosaic tiles using Ergovent diffusers. This innovative approach preserved the project’s design integrity while maintaining optimal ventilation—an idea the architects immediately embraced.
Client satisfaction and final outcome
While we had no direct interaction with the end clients, the architects’ feedback speaks volumes. They were highly satisfied with how the installations blended into the overall aesthetic, reinforcing Mareterra’s status as a benchmark for architectural excellence in Monaco.
