Airflow that follows the ceiling | RONDO COANDA

ERGOVENT RONDO COANDA is a recessed gypsum ceiling diffuser designed to direct supply air horizontally along the ceiling instead of immediately downwards. By using the Coanda effect, it helps prevent direct airflow and draughts when a person is positioned beneath the diffuser.

Once plastered and painted, the diffuser becomes part of the ceiling, leaving only a precise circular opening visible.

RONDO COANDA combines a concealed gypsum body with a specially shaped central element. Its geometry directs supply air towards the ceiling, allowing it to travel horizontally before gradually mixing with the room air.

This is especially useful when the diffuser is positioned directly above a bed, desk, sofa or another area where people regularly spend time.

RONDO COANDA is designed as an architectural ceiling detail rather than a conventional visible vent cover. Its recessed gypsum body is finished together with the surrounding plasterboard, preserving a clean and consistent ceiling surface.

: The diffuser is installed flush with the ceiling and painted using the same paint as the surrounding surface. Once finished, it blends naturally into the interior.
: Instead of a visible metal grille, the installed diffuser leaves a clean circular opening. Its understated form works well in modern residential, hospitality and commercial interiors.
: An internal plastic shield reinforces the removable gypsum cap and helps protect its edges during removal, airflow adjustment or accidental drops.

COANDA airflow is a practical choice when the diffuser is positioned above a bed, desk, sofa or another frequently occupied area. By directing supply air along the ceiling, it helps reduce direct airflow towards the person below.

RONDO COANDA diffusers feature standard duct connections of 100 mm and 125 mm, compatible with both rigid air ducts and flexible ducts.
ERGOVENT COANDA gypsum diffusers are compatible with both single and double layers of plasterboard, enabling seamless, flush installation in a variety of ceiling and wall designs.
The magnetic holders used in RONDO COANDA gypsum diffusers provide a secure and reliable attachment, supporting up to 10.75 kg
